Frequently asked questions

Answers to your most important questions

The most frequently asked questions about ServiceCockpit, answered concisely.

What is ServiceCockpit?

ServiceCockpit is SourceTeam's platform for professional vendor management over ICT service providers: one integrated tool for the entire management cycle — register, structure, steer and evaluate.

What is a management domain?

A management domain is a part of the Management Control Framework. There are six, in a fixed order: Contract & Organisation, Finances, SLA & Performance, Information Security, Risk & Quality and Satisfaction.

What is the difference between the management cycle and the implementation?

The management cycle is the ongoing way of working to stay in sync with a supplier. The implementation is the one-off setup that gets that cycle going.

Who uses ServiceCockpit?

All roles involved in vendor management: both on the side of the organisation itself (such as Service Owner, Vendor Manager and CISO) and on the supplier side (such as Account Manager and Service Delivery Manager).

Where is our data hosted?

ServiceCockpit runs in managed data centres in Europe, with redundancy and automatic backups. Data is transmitted encrypted and stored encrypted. You can read more about this on the security page.

Are we helped with the implementation?

Yes. The implementation runs through a one-off preparation, followed by the actual setup per supplier and acceptance & go-live — after which the ongoing management cycle takes over.

What does ServiceCockpit cost?

That depends on the number of suppliers and the chosen configuration. Feel free to plan a call or demo; we will then make a suitable tailor-made quote.

How can I request a demo?
